About

Della Austin, MA Counselling, MA Play Therapy, NLP Practitioner, MBACP, MBAPT:

I am a counsellor and play therapist with expertise in many counselling methods. I have set up school counselling services in Wales and been part of pilot projects for WG in primary schools and TaMHS in the NW of England. I have worked in the Charity sector for both National and Local charities supporting families, coaching parents and offering therapy to children and young people. As part of this work, I have been committed to inclusion and accessibility for our most challenged and vulnerable families; acknowledging their strengths and autonomy while supporting growth and change.

My research interests include the impact of providing consultancy supervision in schools; school attendance and inclusion and family-based play therapy interventions.
